  • Artists interested in participating should submit their info below. Once info is received you will be invited to self tape. 


  • Self tape should be 8-10 minutes long, showcasing a monologue of your choice. Original material is not required but selection should be artistically compelling.  


  • You will be notified regarding the status of your submission by April 27th, 2020.

25-32 years old, Black/African American male. Stand up guy. Works as a security officer but is beginning to want more. Ready to let go of the past. Disapproving of his fathers past transgression but ready to forgive. Father of three. Intelligent. Wants to give his girlfriend more. Work in progress. Family man. 


A man acknowledges his own self destruction as his role into fatherhood expands.


MIA 

21 to 27 years old, Black/African American female. Under 5'8. Petite-curvy. Feisty and sure of herself. Young and in love but unhappy with the state of her marriage. Mother of a toddler. Wife of a flirtatious and immature man. Desperate to be heard. 


Frustrated with the state of her marriage, a young woman holds nothing back when confronting her philandering husband.


RAMARAH 

25 to 30 years old, Black/African American female. Weight; optional. Height; optional. Eccentric and expressive attire. Borderline personality but exceptionally intelligent. Girl next door with suicidal thoughts. Misunderstood and underrepresented. Struggling to understand her pain. Plagued by family secrets. Haunted by the pain of her biological mother. 


Family secrets leave a young woman emotionally, and mentally unstable. 


CHANTELL

35 to 37 years old, Black/African American female. Beautiful face. Weight; fit-curvy. Height; optional. Well put together business woman. Polished. Mother of four. Independent and hardworking. Comedic, lovable, and approachable. Unresolved anger with ex husband. Looks at the glass half full. Determined to give her children a better future. Wants to resolve strain. Hates the idea of putting the father of her children on child support. 


A mother of four narrates what lead her to filing for child support after finally obtaining a career of her own. 


Additional details will be provided to actors chosen to move forward with production.
